The contest, organized by the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions, and the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, was held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the nation’s upcoming 34th Independence Day anniversary, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

Participants showcased mastery in traditional crafts, with a special focus on the intricate art of felt carpet making. The displayed works featured ancient national motifs unique to various regions.
