A delegation from Turkmenistan has actively participated in the International Textile Forum and Textile Equipment Exhibition held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, presenting the country’s advancements in textile manufacturing and exploring new areas of regional cooperation.
The forum brought together officials, business leaders, and industry representatives from Central Asia and beyond, aiming to promote cross-border partnerships in the textile sector, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.
The Turkmen delegation highlighted the country's achievements in producing high-quality cotton goods, adopting modern technologies, and enhancing export capabilities. Presentations also underscored the development of a complete production cycle and Turkmenistan’s commitment to deepening ties with international partners.
On the sidelines of the forum, the delegation engaged in bilateral talks with several Tajik companies, discussing opportunities for joint projects, technology sharing, and expanding business-to-business collaboration.
The visit also included site tours of Dushanbe’s textile enterprises, including the Guliston factory, allowing the delegation to assess production capacities and discuss specific areas for future cooperation.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation at the forum reflects growing interest in strengthening regional trade links and promoting sustainable industrial growth across Central Asia.
