The Azerbaijan Tourism Board and the National PR Center under Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee have jointly launched a series of promotional events across Europe to spotlight the rich cultural and tourism heritage of the historic Silk Road.
The initiative aims to strengthen partnerships with European travel industry stakeholders, promote the cultural, historical, and natural landmarks of both nations, and position Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan as leading destinations along one of the world’s most iconic travel corridors, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
The roadshow kicked off with events in Frankfurt and Vienna, attracting 16 key industry participants, including Azerbaijan Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways.
The campaign will continue through October 24, with upcoming stops in Zurich, Budapest, Prague, and Barcelona. Each city will feature targeted presentations on tourism offerings in both countries, business-to-business (B2B) networking sessions, and media engagement activities designed to raise awareness and foster long-term cooperation in the tourism sector.
