Azerbaijan has actively participated in the 7th International Transport and Logistics Business Forum “New Silk Road” held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Azerbaijani delegation, led by Deputy Minister Rahman Hummatov, joined discussions among regional leaders focused on boosting international transport cooperation, developing major transport corridors, and realizing the region’s vast logistics potential, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
Key segments of the forum included a panel on “Transport Connectivity and Synchronization of Transport Corridors,” the 8th Meeting of Transport Ministers from member states of the Organization of Turkic States, and a gathering of delegates from nations participating in the Trans‑Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
The event also saw the signing of several strategic documents: a protocol summarizing decisions from the TITR meeting, a communiqué from the 8th Transport Ministers’ Meeting of the Turkic States, and additional agreements designed to strengthen regional transport collaboration.
Azerbaijan’s presence and engagement at the forum underscore its commitment to shaping the future of Eurasian connectivity and to pursuing sustainable, coordinated transport networks across the region.
