From January to November 2025, 60,979 Uzbek citizens traveled to Egypt for tourism.
This represents a 47.7 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2024, with 19,700 more travelers visiting the North African country, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The majority of Uzbek tourists-55,090 people-traveled for leisure and sightseeing. Other reasons for visiting Egypt included: visiting relatives (5,679), medical treatment (172), studies (20), and business trips (18).
The growing number of Uzbek travelers highlights Egypt’s rising popularity as a tourist destination in Central Asia.
