On 9 September, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb.

The two leaders discussed ways to further expand multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland, particularly in trade, the economy, and humanitarian spheres, in the context of preparations for the upcoming visit of the Finnish President to Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
