IT Park Uzbekistan is advancing its global partnerships, holding high-level talks with Singapore-based tech firm vSaaS Global and venture capital platform ThinKuvate Venture to explore collaboration on tech development and startup investment initiatives in Uzbekistan.
Led by Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, the delegation met with Ghanshyam Ahuja, CEO of vSaaS Global and co-founder of ThinKuvate Venture, to discuss establishing a local development team in Uzbekistan and launching joint venture opportunities to strengthen the country’s growing innovation ecosystem, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
The two sides examined the feasibility of opening a vSaaS Global office in Uzbekistan, with plans to hire local developers to implement and scale the company's digital transformation and SaaS projects in the region. Ahuja also expressed strong interest in joining forces with IT Park Ventures to support early-stage startups through joint venture capital initiatives.
Founded in 2010, vSaaS Global is an international IT company specializing in business process automation, SaaS development, and digital transformation. Headquartered in Singapore, the firm operates across the US, UK, and India, with a team of about 100 professionals.
ThinKuvate Venture, also based in Singapore, manages a $20 million investment fund focused on supporting early-stage startups in Southeast Asia. Its team of approximately 100 experts provides funding and strategic guidance to help emerging companies grow and scale.
Discussions during the meeting included the potential creation of a joint investment fund aimed at supporting both Uzbek and Singaporean startups, with a focus on fostering innovation, cross-border collaboration, and mutual growth in the digital economy.
Uzbekistan continues attracting international attention as a rising technology hub in Central Asia, supported by pro-business policies and government initiatives to grow the local IT sector. IT Park Uzbekistan remains at the forefront of this transformation, offering end-to-end support for foreign investors and tech companies looking to enter the Uzbek market, create jobs, and develop local talent.
