Oman Air Launches Direct Tashkent–Muscat Flights Soon

Travel between Central Asia and the Gulf is about to get easier.

Oman Air has announced the launch of regular direct flights between Tashkent and Muscat, opening a new chapter in air connectivity between the two regions, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The new route will officially begin on June 1, 2026, with flights operating twice a week. The journey is expected to take around four hours, offering a fast and convenient link for both business and leisure travelers. One-way ticket prices start from $200.

Expanding Into Central Asia

According to the airline, the Tashkent-Muscat service is part of Oman Air’s broader strategy to expand a sustainable route network and strengthen its presence in promising growth markets.

Central Asia is increasingly emerging as a key destination for both inbound and outbound tourism. The carrier expects the new connection to boost tourist flows from Uzbekistan and neighboring countries to Oman, while also encouraging Gulf travelers to explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage.

Tickets Now on Sale

Tickets are already available for purchase via the airline’s official website and mobile app, giving travelers the opportunity to plan their summer 2026 trips well in advance.

With this new direct route, Oman Air continues to position itself as a growing bridge between the Gulf region and Central Asia, responding to rising demand for faster, more convenient travel options.
