More than 30 Azerbaijani companies are participating in the “Great Silk Road Business Cooperation Forum - 2025”, currently underway in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region.

The event unites entrepreneurs from Central Asia and Azerbaijan on a shared business platform, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

“The forum aims to elevate regional economic integration, expand trade relations, and strengthen direct dialogue among business communities. Over 300 participants from ministries, trade and industry chambers, major corporations, and private sector organizations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan are attending,” the chamber said.

Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), noted that the forum offers entrepreneurs fresh opportunities to explore mutually beneficial partnerships.

“More than 30 Azerbaijani companies, representing a wide range of industries, are taking part. The planned opening of an Azerbaijani Trade Representation in Uzbekistan, which will also cover other Central Asian countries, will create new prospects for expanding economic cooperation,” Abdullayev added.
