PASHA Real Estate Group and Marriott International, Inc. have signed an agreement to develop JW Marriott-branded residences in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The residences will occupy two buildings within a mixed-use development being developed by PASHA Real Estate Group, The Caspian Post reports.
The three-building complex will feature The Ritz-Carlton, Tashkent hotel and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tashkent in one building, while the other two will house JW Marriott-branded residences. The development will also include a retail and leisure promenade with luxury brand boutiques and restaurants.
The new JW Marriott residences will complement The Ritz-Carlton project, offering future owners thoughtfully designed living spaces that reflect the brand’s high standards of comfort, quality and design.
Ozgur Geter, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Real Estate Group, said the project was particularly significant for the company, reflecting its approach to high-quality real estate development through international expertise, contemporary architecture and design, and a strong focus on customer needs.
He added that cooperation with Marriott International was important to advancing the company’s plans and that the signing of the agreement for JW Marriott-branded residences marked another significant milestone in the development of the Tashkent project.
Jaidev Menezes, Marriott International’s Regional Vice President for Mixed-Use Development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said Tashkent was a promising and rapidly developing market where demand for branded residences was growing.
Menezes said the company was seeing growing demand for branded residences that combine exceptional design, world-class amenities and the assurance of a recognized international brand.
Building on Marriott International’s longstanding partnership with PASHA Real Estate Group, the companies aim to bring JW Marriott’s approach to luxury living to Tashkent, emphasizing comfort, well-being and a high-quality residential experience.
Construction is already underway on The Ritz-Carlton, Tashkent hotel and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Tashkent. Once completed, the project is expected to mark the first entry of The Ritz-Carlton brand into Uzbekistan.
Together with the planned JW Marriott residences, the properties will form part of an integrated mixed-use complex combining luxury hospitality, premium housing, retail and dining.
The new agreement represents another milestone in the partnership between PASHA Real Estate Group and Marriott International. Their collaboration spans hospitality and residential developments under brands including The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, St. Regis, Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, Courtyard by Marriott and Autograph Collection across Azerbaijan, Georgia and Uzbekistan.
The Tashkent project will further expand PASHA Real Estate Group’s presence in Uzbekistan and support its strategy of developing modern mixed-use destinations that bring together internationally recognized hospitality brands and premium residential properties.
