The program of events for the working visit of Uzbekistan's President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Ashgabat has come to an end.
The President of Uzbekistan participated in and delivered a speech at the International Forum marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s proclamation of permanent neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
The President of Uzbekistan held talks with the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
As part of the visit program, the heads of the delegations also visited the renovated Neutrality Complex in Ashgabat.
Upon completion of the visit, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was seen off by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, and other officials at Ashgabat International Airport.
The President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
