Belgrade will name one of its streets “Tashkent” as part of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to Serbia, marking a new symbol of the growing ties between the two countries.
Mirziyoyev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić emphasized that the decision reflects the dynamic development of multifaceted Uzbekistan-Serbia relations, which have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership, according to kun.uz.
The leaders highlighted that Tashkent Street will serve as a visible symbol of the two countries’ commitment to further strengthening friendship, mutual understanding and closer ties between their peoples.
