Surkhandarya Leads as Uzbekistan’s Grape Production Rises to 56,300 Tons

Preliminary data from Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee indicates that farms across all categories produced 56,300 tons of grapes from January to June 2025, a 7.8 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

Surkhandarya Region led the country in grape production with 15,600 tons, followed by Namangan and Kashkadarya regions, each contributing 8,000 tons, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Bukhara produced 6,700 tons, Samarkand 4,900 tons, and Fergana 3,000 tons.

Smaller outputs were reported in Navoi (2,900 tons), Andijan (2,400 tons), Tashkent and Khorezm (1,400 tons each), Syrdarya (900 tons), Jizzakh (700 tons), and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (400 tons).
