Tashkent, Washington Commit to Expanding Strategic Cooperation

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held discussions with U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs Sergio Gor and First Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Lan.

The meeting focused on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further expansion, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

According to Saidov, the discussions centered on fully implementing all agreements reached between the presidents of Uzbekistan and the United States, as well as shaping a forward-looking agenda for upcoming engagements.

“We once again reaffirmed our strong commitment to mobilizing all available resources to further advance the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between our two nations,” Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel.
