The Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture to discuss ways to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on expanding joint projects and strengthening business ties between entrepreneurs from both nations, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.
Deputy Chairman of the Tabriz Chamber Samad Hasanzadeh announced plans for an Iranian delegation visit to Uzbekistan from October 2 to 5, which will include a business forum and a series of B2B meetings. He also proposed organizing a special session dedicated to women entrepreneurs.
Nodira Shotursunova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Uzbek Chamber, voiced strong support for these initiatives and pledged full assistance to facilitate their successful execution.
The meeting took place in a spirit of mutual trust and understanding, with both parties agreeing to sustain regular communication and deepen practical cooperation to achieve their common goals.
