Uzbek Leader Arrives in Turkmenistan to Strengthen Regional Ties

At the invitation of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit.

Upon his arrival at Turkmenbashi International Airport, President Mirziyoyev was welcomed by Nokerguly Atagulyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, along with other senior government officials, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

During his visit, President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to participate in a trilateral meeting in the format “Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan”, as well as hold a series of bilateral talks aimed at enhancing regional cooperation and strengthening diplomatic and economic ties among the three nations.
