Uzbek President Highlights Strengthening Partnership with China

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received Long Yuxiang, Chairman of the China International Cultural Communication Center.

The issues related to deepening relations between Uzbekistan and China within the framework of their all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, as well as the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties, were discussed, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.

The significant contribution of the Center to reinforcing the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and China was noted.

Several joint projects have been implemented in infrastructure development, investment, and green industry. Projects in geology and agriculture worth more than $1 billion are currently under consideration.

The importance of continuing active exchanges in education, science, culture, and tourism was emphasized.

The Center, founded in 1984, has established cultural, scientific, and educational ties with more than 160 countries and operates three international offices.
