Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Set to Boost Joint Energy Projects

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has met with Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov in Tashkent to discuss expanding cooperation and advancing new joint energy projects.

The sides reviewed ways to deepen Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and alliance, The Caspian Post reports via the Uzbek president's press service.

The meeting highlighted active contacts at all levels, steady growth in trade, and successful cooperation, including in energy. Emphasis was placed on promoting joint projects in oil and gas, geological exploration, green energy, and the chemical industry.
