Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Deepen Cooperation in Higher Education

The inaugural Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions is taking place at Andijan State University, centered around the theme “Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan: Priority Directions for the Development of Cooperation in Higher Education.”

The forum is organized jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Andijan State University, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.

Speakers at the event included the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Daliyev, Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Idris Isayev, Deputy Hokim of Andijan region, Komiljon Komilov, and Rector of Andijan State University, Bakhtiyor Akbaraliyev, who congratulated the participants and wished them success in the forum’s work.

The first day of the Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions was substantive and productive.
