Uzbekistan and China Strengthen Collaboration in Handicraft Sector

A meeting took place in Tashkent between the leadership of the Hunarmand Association and a delegation from Urumqi, China, headed by Yin Chun, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce.

At the beginning of the visit, the guests toured the Handicraft Center under the Association, familiarized themselves with its activities, and observed artisans’ practical workshops, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.

Members of the delegation spoke with artisans working in various fields and expressed great interest in national handmade products.

Later, an official online meeting took place between Yin Chun and the Chairman of the Association, Rasuljon Mirzaakhmedov. The parties discussed ways to expand cooperation in handicrafts and trade.

According to experts, the visit of the Chinese delegation and the talks held will lay a solid foundation for a future mutually beneficial partnership.
