Uzbekistan, Bahrain Explore Partnership in Commercial Dispute Settlement

Uzbekistan and Bahrain are seeking closer cooperation in the field of dispute resolution following a visit by Amir Sultanov, Head of the Treaty and Legal Department at Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry, to the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR).

During his visit, Sultanov reviewed Bahrain’s legal framework for dispute settlement and toured the BCDR’s offices and infrastructure, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

He also met with Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Ahmed Hussain, Chief Executive Officer, to discuss mechanisms for resolving commercial and economic disputes, Bahrain’s experience in this sector, and potential collaboration with international organizations.

Both sides expressed interest in exchanging expertise and adopting best practices to enhance the legal and business environment in their respective countries.

Sultanov was accompanied by Ambassador Dr. Yousef Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry.
