Uzbekistan, Belarus Step Up Diplomatic Coordination

Uzbekistan and Belarus are set to deepen diplomatic coordination following a high-level phone call between their top diplomats.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, during which the two sides reviewed the outcomes of bilateral cooperation in 2025 and outlined priorities for the period ahead, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The ministers exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, noting the similarity of their approaches on a range of bilateral, regional, and international issues. Both expressed readiness to maintain close coordination and constructive dialogue amid evolving global dynamics.

The conversation also underscored the active role of the two foreign ministries in supporting the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, signaling continued engagement and practical collaboration between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the coming period.
