Uzbekistan Calls on Russia to Respond to Hooligan Attack on Its Nationals

Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Vladivostok has officially contacted Russian authorities following an attack on Uzbek nationals by a group of hooligans.

Consul General Yusup Kabulzhanov confirmed that Tashkent has urged the Russian government to take appropriate measures in response to the incident, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

“An official complaint has been filed with the Vladivostok Department of Internal Affairs, and notes have been sent to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ local office and the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor’s Office, requesting all necessary actions be taken,” Kabulzhanov stated on his Telegram channel.

The incident is being closely monitored by both the Uzbek Consulate General in Vladivostok and Russian law enforcement agencies to ensure proper investigation and protection of Uzbek citizens.
