Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has met with European Investment Bank (EIB) President Nadia Calviño to discuss expanding cooperation on sustainable development, green transition, and infrastructure modernization.
The sides reviewed ongoing and future projects aimed at boosting economic growth, promoting climate resilience, and strengthening regional connectivity, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Saidov called the EIB a key partner in shaping a more connected and sustainable future for Uzbekistan and the region.
“We look forward to unlocking new opportunities in investment and innovation,” he said, reaffirming Uzbekistan’s commitment to deepening ties with European financial institutions.
