A granulated sulfur production expansion project has been successfully completed in the Mubarek district of Uzbekistan’s Kashkadarya region.
The upgraded facility now has an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, significantly boosting overall output and strengthening the region’s industrial potential, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
As part of the project, 80 new jobs have been created, contributing to local employment and economic development. The total investment volume reached $18 million, reflecting growing investor confidence in Uzbekistan’s industrial sector.
The project was initiated by individual entrepreneur Ahmad Vahid Yaghoubi, underscoring the role of private investment in advancing the country’s manufacturing capabilities.
