Members of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis (parliament) have held talks with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Uzbekistan József Rózsa, focusing on the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan-Hungary cooperation.
The meeting brought together Bahrom Abdullayev, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare, and Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investment and Tourism, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue, sharing experience in education, and expanding collaboration in trade, the economy, and investment, as well as within international parliamentary organizations.
The sides also put forward proposals aimed at advancing economic diplomacy, attracting foreign investment, and enhancing cooperation in the field of labor migration.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to implement joint projects and initiatives designed to further deepen bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
