Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has met with Japan’s Foreign Minister Takeo Iwai on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly session to discuss the expansion of political dialogue between the two countries.
During the talks, both ministers reviewed the positive outcomes of the recent visit by the Japanese delegation to Uzbekistan and discussed concrete measures to further strengthen bilateral ties, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Key topics also included enhancing trade and investment cooperation, improving transport connectivity, and fostering collaboration in education and cultural exchanges.
