Uzbekistan Outlines “New Uzbekistan” Reforms in Talks with UK’s Officials

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the UK, Ravshan Usmanov, has met with Charlotte Pierre, Deputy Political Director at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, where the Uzbek delegation outlined the wide-ranging reforms and projects being implemented under the “New Uzbekistan” strategy.

Both sides exchanged views on further developing bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on strengthening political dialogue at top and senior levels, expanding inter-parliamentary contacts, diversifying trade, economic, and investment ties, and enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation, The Caspian Post informs per Uzbek media.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continue constructive dialogue and plans to explore concrete measures for fully realizing the potential of cooperation in the outlined areas.
