Uzbekistan, Poland Explore New Opportunities for Bilateral Trade

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Poland, Amirsayid Agzamkhodzhaev, has met with Michał Jarosz, State Secretary of Poland’s Ministry of Development and Technology and Co-Chair of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, where both sides highlighted the positive growth in trade, economic, and investment relations between the two countries.

Jarosz highlighted that 2025 is a landmark year for Uzbekistan-Poland relations and affirmed Poland’s commitment to supporting the Third Renaissance initiatives under New Uzbekistan’s development framework, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The discussion focused on the phased implementation of agreements from the 8th session of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental Commission and reviewed the outcomes of the business forum held in Tashkent in February 2025.

Officials also highlighted that the opening of a Tashkent office for the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) will create new opportunities for both Polish companies and Uzbek entrepreneurs, facilitating access to new markets and promoting mutually beneficial economic cooperation.

The meeting further addressed collaboration in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and veterinary sectors, as well as initiatives to strengthen interregional cooperation.
