Uzbekistan Reiterates Commitment to Strategic Partnership with US

A ceremonial event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the C5+1 regional diplomatic platform, which brings together the Central Asian countries and the United States of America, was held in Washington, D.C.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in the celebrations in Washington together with his counterparts from the region, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

“We express our sincere gratitude to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the warm welcome and fruitful discussions. Together, we are advancing a mutually beneficial partnership between Central Asia and the United States, expanding trade and investment ties, and contributing to regional stability and sustainable development”, Mr. Saidov noted.

According to the Minister, the country reaffirms its commitment to continued constructive dialogue and practical cooperation within the C5+1 framework. The goal of these efforts is to strengthen peace, prosperity, and shared progress in the region.
