Uzbekistan's Fergana Governor Meets with Turkish Cleaning Products Giant to Boost Cooperation

Governor of Uzbekistan's Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, has held a meeting with Yusuf Bodur, CEO of Sektör Kimya, one of Türkiye’s leading manufacturers of cleaning and hygiene products.

Headquartered in Istanbul with production facilities in Konya’s industrial zone, Sektör Kimya produces household cleaning products under the Mr Oxy brand and personal care and cosmetics under Dr Lory. The company also manufactures products for other brands, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

About half of the company’s output is exported to over 70 countries, with a product range exceeding 1,000 items and monthly sales surpassing two million units. During the meeting, Bodur showcased the company’s operations and presented a video illustrating its production processes.

Bozorov highlighted the rapid development of this sector in Uzbekistan, emphasizing the Fergana Valley’s potential for expanding the market. He suggested establishing cooperation between companies in both countries.

The discussion concluded with an agreement to explore Sektör Kimya’s operations further and to develop long-term partnership opportunities between Turkish and Uzbek enterprises.
