Uzbekistan’s Lemon Exports Surge in First Half of 2025

Uzbekistan has significantly increased its lemon exports in the first six months of 2025.

Between January and June, the country exported 1,908 tons of lemons, generating revenue of approximately $3 million, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

This marks a 7.1 per cent increase-or 127 tons more-compared to the same period in 2024.

The primary destinations for Uzbek lemons included:

Russia - 1,087 tons

Kazakhstan - 734 tons

Kyrgyz Republic - 82 tons

Additionally, 5 tons were shipped to other countries.
