President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has concluded his state visit to Mongolia.
This first-ever visit by the Uzbekistan Leader to Mongolia marked a new stage in bilateral relations and opened broad opportunities for developing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.Yesterday in Ulaanbaatar, the President of Uzbekistan held talks with President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh in both contracted and expanded formats. Promising areas of practical cooperation were discussed, focusing on trade, economic, and industrial sectors.
Following the visit, a Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Comprehensive Partnership was signed.
The Presidents of the two countries and their spouses attended a joint concert featuring artists from both nations. Today, the President of Uzbekistan and the First Lady visited the “Ikh Tenger” complex, where the Presidents and First Ladies planted trees. A joint viewing of the traditional Naadam games also took place.
Following the visit, the President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, and other officials saw off the distinguished guests at the airport.
