Uzbekistan’s Watermelon Exports Surge to 130,600 Tons in H1 2025

Uzbekistan has significantly boosted its watermelon exports in the first half of 2025, shipping a total of 130,600 tons valued at $29.9 million.

This represents a substantial increase of 52,700 tons, or 67.7 percent, compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.

The majority of exports were destined for Russia (66,000 tons), Kazakhstan (44,000 tons), and Kyrgyzstan (19,000 tons). Smaller shipments were sent to Belarus (968 tons), Mongolia (618 tons), Latvia (76 tons), Georgia (66 tons), Poland (61 tons), and other countries accounting for 121 tons.
