Uzbekistan Sees Big Growth in Melon Exports in H1 2025

Uzbekistan exported 14,000 tons of melons worth $4.4 million between January and June 2025, marking a significant increase of 8,000 tons compared to the same period in 2024.

The largest shares of melon exports went to Russia, receiving 5,600 tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 4,000 tons, and Kyrgyzstan with 3,000 tons, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Uzbekistan also supplied melons to several European countries, including Latvia (603 tons), Ukraine (515 tons), Germany (254 tons), Belarus (249 tons), and Lithuania (153 tons).

Smaller quantities totaling 84 tons were shipped to other international markets.
