Following high-level talks in Tashkent, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić have signed a joint declaration and a comprehensive package of intergovernmental and interagency agreements, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation.
The agreements cover a wide range of areas - from investment protection and economic cooperation to healthcare, tourism, education, science, culture, engineering, and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The sides also inked a series of important documents, including a protocol on diplomatic training, an interministerial cooperation program for 2026-2027, a memorandum on labor migration, a protocol on sports development, and an agreement to establish sister-city relations between Tashkent and Belgrade.
