A presentation showcasing Uzbekistan's tourism potential was held in Kuwait's capital.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov, Kuwaiti blogger Abdulkarim Al-Hindal, representatives of Kuwait’s travel agencies, as well as the Jazeera Airways, bloggers, and influencers, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
During the presentation, participants discussed tourism development forecasts for 2025, prospects for increasing tourist exchanges, the current state of cooperation in the tourism sector, and plans for 2026.
Kuwaiti participants were informed about Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, services offered to tourists, and special tour packages for visiting the country’s historic cities and resorts. Informational materials on Uzbekistan were distributed to participants.
A representative of Jazeera Airways discussed current direct flights from Kuwait to Tashkent and Namangan, plans, and the company’s vision to develop tourism in Uzbekistan and increase tourist flows from Kuwait.
Following the event, representatives of travel companies and the tourism industry presented proposals to increase the number of tourists from Kuwait to Uzbekistan.
