Uzbekistan to Strengthen Policy Enforcement with New Control System

Starting September 1, 2025, Uzbekistan will roll out a new control system aimed at strengthening oversight.

The initiative is designed to ensure the effective implementation of presidential decrees and government resolutions across all levels of administration, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The reform introduces several key structural changes:

The Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan will be granted expanded authority to coordinate and monitor the performance of state agencies. As part of this upgrade, the chamber will add 10 new managerial positions, which will be created by downsizing the staff of the Pension Fund.

The Ministry of Justice will establish a specialized department consisting of 20 personnel dedicated exclusively to overseeing the enforcement of documents issued by the president and the cabinet of ministers.

Officials say the move reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing institutional discipline, improving accountability, and ensuring the timely execution of national policies and reforms.
