Uzbekistan is hosting a large Iraqi business delegation, as around 200 entrepreneurs arrive in the country at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The program includes visits to Tashkent and Samarkand, where business forums and bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings will bring together companies from both countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The talks are expected to focus on expanding cooperation across a wide range of industries, including electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, construction materials and furniture production, textiles, automotive manufacturing, and tourism.
Organizers say the meetings will serve as a practical platform for establishing direct business contacts, strengthening trade ties, and identifying opportunities for joint investment and partnership projects between Uzbek and Iraqi companies.
