Armenia and NATO Explore Opportunities for Deeper Cooperation

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum.

The interlocutors discussed the opportunities for expanding the partnership between Armenia and NATO, and highlighted the interest in forming a more ambitious agenda in this regard, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

Also, the recent visit by the ambassadors of NATO member states to Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, as well as the country's participation in NATO peacekeeping missions, was noted with satisfaction.

Turning to regional developments, the interlocutors exchanged views on the importance of the Washington agreements in establishing peace, and the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) communication project.
