Armenia Becomes Member of Global Conservation Alliance

Armenia has officially joined the ENACT Partnership, a global alliance that advocates for nature-based solutions to address the crises of climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation.

The Enhancing Nature-based Solutions for an Accelerated Climate Transformation (ENACT) Partnership unites governments and non-state actors to conserve nature, enhance the resilience of one billion people, and drive integrated Rio Convention goals, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

Mher Margaryan, Ambassador, COP17 Chief Negotiator, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia announced the news yesterday at the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

Held every four years, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (ICUN) World Conservation Congress brings together leaders and decision-makers from government, civil society, indigenous peoples, business, and academia, with the goal of conserving the environment and harnessing the solutions nature offers to global challenges.
