Armenia has launched exports of fresh fruits and vegetables to the United Arab Emirates under a memorandum of understanding signed with Watermelon Ecosystem on August 27.

The initial shipments will total up to 40 tonnes per week, with the possibility of significantly increasing export volumes in the future, according to Bagramyan26.

Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited Watermelon Ecosystem in Dubai, where he toured the company’s facilities accompanied by its founders. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the company’s operations, infrastructure and production capabilities.
