Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he anticipates Russia to make a decision on restoring certain sections of Armenia's railway connection with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
“Of course, this issue has been discussed. I have also had the opportunity to speak with the President of the Russian Federation. Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister has likewise had the opportunity to speak with Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister. We are now awaiting the response of our Russian partners,” Pashinyan said, adding that Armenia would like to see swift progress.
“Processes are underway. These processes imply that it needs to be done as quickly as possible. We are asking our Russian partners to make a decision on this matter,” the Prime Minister added when asked to comment.
