Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska during her visit to Yerevan.
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting focused on issues related to the Armenia-NATO partnership and the further development of cooperation, The Caspian Pot reports, citing Armenian media.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia highly values its collaboration with international partners, including NATO, particularly in advancing the agenda of security and stability in the region.
The NATO Deputy Secretary General praised the partnership with Armenia and expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for previously hosting NATO Allied Ambassadors, noting that the discussions held at that time were engaging and productive.
The talks also addressed the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, 2025, as well as developments that followed the agreement. The sides exchanged views on steps toward unblocking regional communications, with particular attention to the TRIPP and Crossroads of Peace projects.
In addition, a number of other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
