Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has filed a lawsuit against former lawmakers Sofia Hovsepyan and Edmond Marukyan, alleging defamation and insult in connection with statements they made about elections, The Caspian Post reports, citing News.am.
Pashinyan is seeking a public retraction of the disputed remarks, along with financial compensation.
The claim includes 2 million drams (about $5,400) for insult and 4 million drams (about $11,000) for defamation.
