Armenia has confirmed that it will not take part in the Russia-Belarus military exercises “Zapad-2025,” which also include invited partners from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Aram Torosyan, press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, stated that Armenia will remain absent from the drills, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.
The exercises, which began on September 12, involve military personnel from CSTO member states, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and other partner countries. The drills are scheduled to run until September 16.
