Armenian Government Resigns as Pashinyan Follows Constitutional Procedure - VIDEO

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision on the resignation of the country's government, marking a constitutional step following the election of a new National Assembly.

The resignation document will be submitted to President Vahagn Khachaturyan for formal approval, News.am reports.

In a video message, Pashinyan said the move complies with Armenia's Constitution.

"According to Article 158 of the Constitution, the government resigns on the day of the first session of the newly elected National Assembly," Pashinyan said.
