Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has formally accepted the resignation of the government led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, completing a constitutional step following the start of the newly elected National Assembly.
The decision was confirmed in a presidential decree published on the official website of the Armenian presidency, the official website of the Armenian president says.
"Based on Article 130 of the Constitution [of Armenia]: to accept the resignation of the Government," the decree signed by President Khachaturyan states.
