US military funding for Armenia rose sharply in fiscal year 2024.

American military assistance to Armenia through the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program began in 2002. By fiscal year 2024, the cumulative amount of US military financing allocated to Armenia had exceeded $60 million, according to Sputnik Armenia.

According to Pentagon statistics, US funding to Armenia increased significantly in 2024. Washington provided more than $8.1 million that year, compared with about $16,000 in 2023 and roughly $1.3 million in 2022.
