US to Invest $18 Billion in Armenia

U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that Washington will provide Armenia with billions of dollars in financial support and unmanned aerial vehicle technologies following his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

According to Vance, a significant volume of private capital will be directed to Armenia through the TRIPP fund, The Caspian Post reports.

He specified that investments amounting to $5 billion are planned for the initial stage, with an additional $4 billion envisaged for the second stage.

Vance also noted that the sale of unmanned aerial vehicle technologies valued at $11 million to Armenia for reconnaissance purposes has been approved.

In addition, the U.S. Vice President announced that the United States plans to invest $9 billion in Armenia’s nuclear energy sector.
